Cary Brings Home the NC Improv Trophy — AGAIN!

Congratulations to Cary High School, the 2023 NC Improv Competition Champions!

This is the 3rd year in a row that Cary High has taken home the top award and Cary’s 6th win in the history of the competition thanks to the amazing effort and support of Cary High’s drama teacher and improv coach, Ms. Kristin McCormick!

Nine improv teams from five area high schools competed in the NC High School Improv Competition held at Seafourth High School on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Cary High School sent two teams (left to right (by color) in the picture):

• PINK TEAM: Ben Roylance, Lily Wolfram, Caroline Nicholas, Wade Westray

Congratulations to Cary’s BLUE TEAM for winning the championship and to Evan Szypulski for winning the competition’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

Please be advised there is also a tri-game basketball tournament happening tonight—parking will be difficult! It is recommend to park on the “Macy Star” side of the auditorium (front office side of the building). Lobby is open at 6:15pm! Show starts promptly at 7pm!
