UPDATE (2/20/20): WCPSS schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday 2/21, due to winter weather. Tomorrow’s IMProv is canceled. Again. (Some of you were not thinking warm thoughts!) Check back here or on CHS PABC social media for reschedule information as it becomes available.

Congratulations to Cary Improv for winning 1st place at the NC Improv Festival last Saturday, Jan 11, in Garner!

Cary High sent two Improv teams to the festival:
Cary 1 (green): Hanna Pacheco, Rocky Christiansen, Jake Bryant, Michael Shorb
Cary 2 (purple): Gabe Crochet, James Auwn, Gwen Muncy-Champitto, Abby Lundergan.

Both Cary High teams performed very well throughout the competition. They faced each other in round 7, which was an elimination round. Cary 1 went on to win the next 3 rounds to become the Festival Champions.

Michael Shorb won Improv MVP.

Jake Bryant won the Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Creativity.

Abby Lundergan won the Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Performance in a game of Fairy Tale Countdown.
